Peer-reviewing of the articles in the journal ETAP: Economic Theory, Analysis, and Practice
1. All the scientific materials for publication in the journal ETAP: Economic Theory, Analysis, and Practice are subjected to peer-reviewing.
2. The articles should be formatted according to the “Requirements for the articles (Guide for Authors)”.
3. Chief editor or Deputy chief editors or Scientific editor define whether the article complies with the topics of the journal, requirements for the articles and send for peer-reviewing to the specialist, doctor of sciences or PhD (columnist or the member of editorial board or external specialist), with the closest to the topic of the article scientific specialization.
4. Reviewers are informed that the copyright norms are applied to manuscripts, non-published materials are not copied and the content of the articles is not disclosed.
5. The period of reviewing should not exceed 8 weeks.
6. The reviewer discloses whether a) the content of the article corresponds to its heading; b) the article responds the modern achievements in the given branch of science. The reviewer gives the reasoned conclusion about the possibility of publication (with improvement or without it), recommends improvements and recommends the column where it can be published.
7. The author is informed about the reviewer’s conclusion and his/her recommendations for improvement without the name of the reviewer. The review can be sent to the Higher Attestation Commission and/or the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation by their demand.
8. Editorial board has the right to reject the article for reviewing in case the material:
- is not written as a scientific article;
- does not comply with the Requirements for the article (Guide for authors);
- has been published in other journals, including Internet journals, in the same volume and with the same heading;
- contains plagiarism.
9. If the review contains recommendations for changes and improvement of the article, the Deputy Chief Editor or the managing editor sends the text of the review to the author offering him/her to take into account these recommendations during preparation of the new variant of the article. Then the reviewed article is again sent for the new reviewing in case of the considerable changes.
10. Submission of the articles and the reviews are recorded in the book of the article movement.
11. The final decision about publication of the article is taken by the Chief Editor of the journal or if necessary by the editorial board.
12. After taking the decision about submission of the article the Deputy Chief Editor or the Scientific Editor or the managing editor informs the author about it and indicates the period of publication.
13. The articles of doctoral students, applicants and trainees are accepted only with the conclusion of the academic advisor.
14. The reviews are kept at the establisher’s during five years.
